You need to score at least 45 out of 50 (90%) to pass the BTT. The test consists of 50 multiple-choice questions to be completed within 50 minutes.
BTTHow long is the BTT valid after passing?
Your BTT pass is valid for life — it does not expire. Once you pass, you can proceed to the Final Theory Test (FTT) and practical lessons at any time without needing to retake the BTT.
FTTHow long is the FTT result valid?
Your FTT pass is valid for 2 years from the date you pass. You must book and pass your practical driving test within this 2-year window — otherwise you will need to retake the FTT.
