Welcome to BTT.sg (the "Platform"), accessible from https://www.btt.sg. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Platform.
1. Accounts
Account Creation
You must create an account to access certain features of the Platform, including paid practice content. Accounts are created through supported third-party sign-in providers (such as Google).
Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating and using your account, and to keep that information up to date.
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use of the Platform poses a risk to other users or to us.
2. Purchases and Subscriptions
Subscription Plans
BTT.sg offers access to paid features through recurring subscriptions. The plan options, prices, and billing intervals are displayed at checkout. By subscribing, you authorise BTT.sg and our payment processor to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method on a recurring basis.
Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until you cancel. Your renewal is charged at the price you originally agreed to at the time of signup, and that price remains locked in for as long as your subscription stays active, regardless of any subsequent price changes.
Payment Processing
All payments are processed through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. BTT.sg does not store your full payment card details on its own servers.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your BTT.sg account, which opens the Stripe-hosted customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the current paid billing period, after which it will not renew.
Refunds
All charges are final and non-refundable. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not entitle you to a refund for amounts already charged or for any unused portion of the current billing period.
Price Changes
We may change our prices from time to time. Price changes apply only to new subscriptions started after the change; existing active subscriptions continue to renew at the price you originally agreed to at signup.
3. Intellectual Property
Ownership
All content on the Platform — including the question bank, answers, explanations, roadmaps, text, graphics, logos, the Instructor Otty mascot, and software — is the exclusive property of BTT.sg or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial driving theory exam preparation.
Restrictions
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform or its content, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Platform to:
- Share your account credentials with any other person.
- Reproduce, duplicate, copy, scrape, or redistribute any part of the question bank or other Platform content.
- Engage in any activity that is unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or infringes the rights of others.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise derive the source code of the Platform.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or impose an unreasonable load on the Platform or its infrastructure.
5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
No Affiliation
BTT.sg is an independent exam preparation platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Singapore Traffic Police, the Singapore Police Force, any driving centre, or any other government agency or regulatory body.
"As Is" Basis
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive for accuracy, we do not warrant that the content is complete, current, or error-free, or that using the Platform will guarantee you a passing result on the official Basic Theory Test (BTT), Final Theory Test (FTT), Riding Theory Test (RTT), or any other examination.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BTT.sg shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
7. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
